Premiership makes Sir Alex Ferguson angry

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is furious about the Premier League´s scheme to play 10 matches abroad. Sir Alex´s side are available at betting odds of 1.90 to win the EPL at Betway.com. The talk over the past few days has been regarding the Premier League staging matches outside in England and across the world in places like Los Angeles and Tokyo for instance. A Premier League matches played abroad in places like China a real possibility? You better believe it.

Ferguson is so angry at the idea that he refused to give his thoughts on the plans for every Premiership side to play at least one match a season on foreign soil. The volatile Scotsman is unhappy that news of the sensational scheme has been leaked before himself and the rest of the Premiership members have had a chance to discuss the move.

Fergie fumed: "I was asked to keep this quiet as I was under the impression we were going to discuss it. "But now it's all over the papers this morning, they (the Premier League) can't keep their mouth shut down there. Ferguson said that until he speaks to United chief executive David Gill he will say nothing more about it.

Red-faced Premier League spokespeople are saying that the plans are not finalised and that no decision has been made on the prospect of playing matches abroad.
