Firdasari moves on to main round of Swiss Open

Indonesian woman`s single Adriyanti Firdasari moved on to the main round of the Super Series Swiss Open after managing to surpass the qualification round.

The official website of the tournament said on Tuesday night that Firdasari only needed 24 minutes to beat American Eva Lee 21-14, 21-17 to get a ticket for the main round.

In the main round, Firdasari will meet fourth-seeded Zhu Lin of China who is also world champion.

Another Indonesian woman singles Pia Zebadiah failed to move on to the main round after being defeated by Thai Salakjit Ponsana 11-21, 15-21.The other Indonesian shuttlers will meet in the main round that will be held on Wednesday.
